Join the Advisory Board
The Connected Communities project is currently inviting expressions of interest from individuals and organisations who would like to join its Advisory Board.
The Advisory Board will play an important role in shaping the direction of the project as it expands community-based digital learning through the University of Dundee's User Centre. Members will help ensure that activities remain relevant to local needs, informed by practice, and useful to organisations working in digital inclusion across Scotland.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in:
- community learning and development
- digital inclusion and participation
- employability support
- work with older adults or underrepresented groups
- local authority or third-sector provision
- accessibility and inclusive design
Advisory Board members will contribute to quarterly discussions reviewing project progress, identifying emerging priorities, and supporting the development and dissemination of project resources, including a transferable toolkit for community-based digital learning.
Participation is flexible and designed to fit alongside existing professional commitments. Note that you would be volunteering your time but we can pay reasonable expeneses, such as travel to meetings as required.
If you are interested in contributing your expertise or would like to find out more, please get in touch with Rachel at r.menzies@dundee.ac.uk.
